What is HaruMong?
HaruMong is a habit tracking app that combines daily habit management with a virtual pet experience. Complete your habits to keep your pet happy and healthy!
Is HaruMong free?
Yes! HaruMong offers core features for free, including habit tracking, pet care, check-ins, and mood tracking. Premium features are available through subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
What languages does HaruMong support?
HaruMong currently supports:
- English
- Korean (한국어)
Habits
How do I create a new habit?
- Go to the Habits tab
- Tap the + button
- Choose a habit type (Simple or Quantity)
- Enter the habit details
- Tap Save
What's the difference between Simple and Quantity habits?
- Simple habits: Check off when completed (e.g., "Read a book", "Meditate")
- Quantity habits: Track measurable amounts (e.g., "Drink 2000mL water", "Walk 10000 steps")
How do I edit or delete a habit?
Long-press on any habit to see options for editing or deleting.
Why did my habit streak reset?
Streaks reset when you miss a day without completing or skipping the habit. Make sure to complete your habits daily to maintain your streak!
Can I skip a habit for a day?
Yes! Swipe left on a habit to skip it. Skipping won't break your streak but won't count as completion either.
Pet
How do I keep my pet happy?
Your pet's happiness depends on:
- Completing daily habits
- Doing morning and evening check-ins
- Maintaining consistent streaks
What happens if I neglect my pet?
If you skip habits or miss check-ins, your pet's happiness and health will decrease. Don't worry—you can always improve by getting back on track!
Can I change my pet's name or color?
Yes! Go to Settings > Pet Settings to change your pet's name, color, or personality.
Check-ins
What are check-ins?
Check-ins are brief daily reflections:
- Morning check-in: Start your day with intention
- Evening check-in: Reflect on your accomplishments
Do I have to do check-ins?
Check-ins are optional but recommended. They help maintain your pet's health and provide valuable reflection time.
Data & Privacy
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, it's also backed up to your personal iCloud account.
Will I lose my data if I delete the app?
If iCloud sync is enabled, your data will be restored when you reinstall. Without iCloud sync, deleting the app removes all data.
How do I export my data?
Currently, data export is not available. We're considering this feature for future updates.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings > scroll to bottom > Delete All Data. This action cannot be undone.
Premium & Subscriptions
What's included in Premium?
Premium includes:
- Additional themes and customization
- Premium widgets
- Ad-free experience
- All future premium features
What are my subscription options?
- Monthly: Billed monthly, cancel anytime
- Yearly: Billed annually, best value for subscribers
- Lifetime: One-time purchase, permanent access
How do I restore my purchase?
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Premium
- Tap Restore Purchases
How do I cancel my subscription?
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your Apple ID at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find HaruMong and tap Cancel Subscription
I purchased Premium but still see ads
Try these steps:
- Restart the app completely
- Go to Settings > Premium > Restore Purchases
- If the issue persists, contact us
Widgets
How do I add widgets to my home screen?
- Long-press on your home screen
- Tap the + button (top left)
- Search for "HaruMong"
- Choose a widget size and tap Add Widget
Why isn't my widget updating?
Widgets update periodically to save battery. Try:
- Opening the app to trigger an update
- Removing and re-adding the widget
- Restarting your device
Technical Issues
The app is crashing
Try these steps:
- Force quit and restart the app
- Restart your device
- Update to the latest version
- If issues persist, contact us
My data isn't syncing
- Check that iCloud is enabled in Settings
- Ensure you have enough iCloud storage
- Check your internet connection
- Try signing out and back into iCloud
HealthKit data isn't showing
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Health
- Find HaruMong and enable the required permissions
- Restart the app
